Pretty nice dude! When did you actually launch the site?

Thanks! I launched tropzilla.com in the summer and before that I had a free hosting.
speaking of nice you got some great art on your newgrounds profile.

I can think of plenty of other purposes for a website than employment, like eh... like hmm... like they're fun to make. :P Anyway, it's a nice site design! Graphically I have no complaints, but you could improve functionality a bit. Maybe get rid of the white background image and just use a div with white fill to cut down loading time, and compress layout images? That logo for example really doesn't need to go above 100KB. Would also be cool with the entire site built on the WP framework so the blog doesn't differ from the other design, would also make it easier to update content... but that's a minor thing. Looking forward to 2014!

Great critique ! just the advice I needed.

I can change all the graphics to jpgs, that should load the site a little quicker without too much quality loss.

Id like to implement wordpress for the entire site; however im too in love with my page design to try and to code it from the back end to make it look like the main page.

soon im gonna code the wordpress blog to match the style of the main page and if it works great, Ill see about using wordpress for the entire thing.

Damn thanks guys, I feel special when people comment and check out my shit.

Yeah, that'd do the trick. Or if you really need the transparency there's usually an 'export for web' option that really brings down filesize. Good plan, a TwentyTwelve child theme for that'll be just perfect!

Btw, it's possible to embed custom fonts instead of using images, via CSS, might be worth looking up if you add a lot of headers! Same could be applied for a menu completely in CSS, which would make it easy to use the same for both site/WP and manage menu items through admin panel. Only thing that really differs otherwise is width and padding. :)

Too few people post about site design nowadays, stuff like this is fun to find. :)
